About Us
Industrial chemical maintenance since 2008
PT Sinar Karya Sejahtera (SKS) was founded in January 2008. Our head office and showroom are in Kapuk, Jakarta, with a branch office in Cikarang close to the Bekasi and Karawang industrial estates.
SKS is the official sole distributor of KCA chemical maintenance products in Indonesia. Our service goes beyond supplying chemicals. Our technicians survey your site, inspect the equipment, calculate the exact chemical requirement and carry out the cleaning to completion, with no separate service fee. We then help maintain your equipment through a scheduled water treatment program.
Most of our clients are manufacturing companies. We also serve hotels and hospitals whose cooling systems and utilities must operate continuously.

Three service lines, one technical team
Chemical Cleaning & Descaling
Equipment that operates with water or oil accumulates internal deposits over time, including water scale, oil deposits, sludge, rust and algae. These deposits impede heat transfer, causing higher operating temperatures, increased power consumption and a greater risk of breakdown. We dissolve them with chemicals selected for the specific problem.

Our acid cleaners contain a corrosion inhibitor, so they dissolve scale without attacking the metal. The method depends on the equipment: circulation flushing, dip tank soaking or spraying. Chemicals are supplied in 25 kg / 25 L pails.

Water Treatment (Cooling Towers & Chillers)
Once the equipment is clean, the next step is to stop scale, rust and algae from coming back quickly. We do this with water treatment chemicals dosed according to an analysis of your site's water.
Open system
Cooling towers
The water is exposed to air, making it the most prone to scale, corrosion and algae. We use a scale & corrosion inhibitor plus a biocide for algae control.
Closed-loop system
Chillers, radiators, diesel cooling
The focus is preventing corrosion, sludge and biological growth inside the loop. We use a corrosion inhibitor designed for closed systems.
Our routine program

Technician visits to dose chemicals and clean the area around the unit.
1x a month
Water analysis in our lab with regularly calibrated Hanna Instruments meters: pH, conductivity, total hardness, silica, iron (Fe), sodium, magnesium and other minerals.

KCA-206Coil Cleaner
Function
A coil cleaner that combines cleaning agents with an inhibitor so its organic acids are non-corrosive. Works immediately without etching metal.

Applications
Evaporators, coils and AHUs. Also surfaces covered in rust, water scale, lime and mineral deposits.
Directions
- Switch off all electrical components, including fans.
- Dilute with water as needed, typically 1 part KCA-206 to 4–5 parts water.
- Wet the surface with water first.
- Apply by spraying, brushing or soaking.
- Leave for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.
- Let the coil dry; the unit is ready to use.

KCA-289Safety Solvent
Function
Multi-purpose solvent that dissolves light soil, dust, grease, oil and adhesive residue.

Applications
Machine parts and metal surfaces contaminated with oil and grease.
Directions
- Surface cleaning: spray or pour on, leave for a few minutes, then wipe dry or rinse with clean water.
- Dip tank: soak parts in KCA-289 for 5–10 minutes or until oil/grease dissolves, then air-dry or wipe dry.

KCA-822Scale Remover
Function
Dissolves rust, magnesium and calcium scale, and water scale.
Benefits
- Contains a corrosion inhibitor, far less aggressive to metal than ordinary strong acids

Applications

Function

KCA-806Cooling Water Treatment
Function
Controls corrosion and scale in cooling tower systems.
Benefits
- Prevents scale: minerals stay dissolved and soft and leave via bleed-off before they stick. Per manufacturer data, 0.46 cm of scale can cut heat transfer by up to 28%.

Function

Function

- Keep nitrite at a minimum of 100 ppm; top up with KCA-818 if lower. Overdosing is harmless.

Function

Is there a fee for the application service?
There is no service fee. Clients purchase only the KCA chemicals required, and our technicians' work is not billed separately. Site surveys within Greater Jakarta are also complimentary.
How long does chemical cleaning of a cooling tower or chiller take?
It depends on the unit size and how thick the scale is. After the survey we give you a clear time estimate, and the work can be scheduled around your shutdown.
Will the chemicals damage pipes or metal parts?
Our cleaning chemicals contain corrosion inhibitors, so scale and rust dissolve without attacking the metal. For sensitive materials such as aluminium and galvanised steel, we select a suitable product.
Can the work be carried out at night or on holidays?
Yes. We routinely work outside production hours so that your plant does not incur additional downtime.
Can we see a demo before buying?
Yes. We can run a demo or sample test at your site to prove the results.
How often does a cooling tower need treatment?
In a routine program our technicians visit twice a week for chemical dosing, and the water is analysed monthly. The frequency can be adjusted to your water conditions.
Do you serve areas outside Greater Jakarta?
Our main area is Greater Jakarta, including Bekasi, Cikarang and Karawang. We can serve other locations with additional transport and accommodation costs.
Can we buy the chemicals only?
Yes. KCA chemicals are available in 25 kg / 25 L pails. Technical data for each product is in the Specs section.
